Breaking Dawn

I have to admit I have been really excited about the release of this book since I finished Eclipse last summer. My friend even talked me into going the Midnight release party at Barnes & Noble. The store was hosting a party and had a costume contest. We were there for over 3 hours, and then we stood in line outside for about 45 minutes waiting for this book. I was determined to stay up all night and read the book but....by the time I got home I was too tired. I decided to wait and get started reading on Saturday. As I started reading I was excited about the direction the book was headed. Edward & Bella finally tied the knot! (Ok so I already knew that because of an article I read on Entertainment Weekly). After getting into the book a little bit I was starting to become weirded out. In the other three books I thought that Stephenie Meyer did a great job at making you feel that vampires we just a normal part of life. This time I think she may have went a little overboard with the story, at times I wanted to stop reading because it was just soooooo weird, but of course curiosity got the best of me and I had to keep reading to find out if it could get any more bizarre. I continued reading and have decided that the second half was better than the first, (I don't want to give anything away to those who haven't read it yet). It does get better but I was still sorely disappointed in the end to this amazing saga. As for me I think I will stick with the first three and pretend that everything just ends with Eclipse. But of course I will let you be the judge!

Dang! I was hoping for the nitty gritties. Maybe you can elaborate in a few days so that I don't have to wonder...
